About Loan Compare

Loan Compare is a free Android app and website from Soluntion Labs that helps people compare personal loans before they apply.

Shopping for a loan usually means visiting lender after lender and trying to line up numbers that are presented differently each time. Loan Compare shows the same facts for every lender: APR range, loan amounts, repayment terms and an estimated monthly payment for the loan you have in mind.

Advertiser disclosure

Loan Compare is not a lender or a loan broker. We do not make loans, we do not make credit decisions, and we do not take loan applications. When you choose an offer, you leave Loan Compare and deal directly with the lender.

Some of the links in the app and on this site are affiliate links. A lender, or an affiliate network acting for it, may pay us a fee when you click a link, submit an application, or take out a loan. This does not change the rate or terms the lender offers you and costs you nothing.

You should know how this affects what you see:

  • We only list lenders we have a referral arrangement with, so the list does not cover the whole market.
  • Being paid can influence which lenders appear.
  • Within the app, matching lenders are ordered by their lowest advertised APR, not by how much they pay us.

How lenders are shown

  • APR ranges, loan amounts and terms are taken from each lender's own published information. Lenders change their terms, so always confirm the details on the lender's site.
  • Monthly payment figures are estimates calculated from the lender's APR range for the amount and term you select. They are not offers.
  • For US users we do not list loans with an APR of 36% or higher, or loans that require full repayment in 60 days or less.
